RAUTAHAT, Dec 29: The players of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) title-winning team, Janakpur Bolts, received a grand welcome at Gaur, the headquarters of Rautahat on Sunday.
After winning the title of NPL held in Kathmandu, the management of Janakpur Bolts decided to visit all the eight districts of Madhesh province with the trophy. As a part of the parade they arrived in Gaur on Sunday.
Janakpur Bolts’ players and management team performed various tableaus and toured the Gaur Bazaar. The players were then formally welcomed at a function held at a Rice Mill.
Local school students, city dwellers, sports fans, Cricket Association of Rautahat and hundreds of citizens enthusiastically participated in the program. According to Pawan Shah of Cricket Association of Rautahat, locals felt immense pride to welcome their favorite team and players.
