KATHMANDU, Nov 26: The Women World Summit Foundation, Geneva, has awarded this year’s global Child Protection Award to a Nepali NGO, Children-Women in Social Service and Human Rights (CWISH) for its advocacy and awareness programs against child labor, child labor exploitation and sexual abuse of children.
The NGO was selected for the award from among 1,000 organizations from across the globe.
While the Nepali NGO bagged the first prize, BZN Atlas of Belgium bagged the second prize and Afghanistan’s Sawa Media bagged the third prize.
