Speaking at a program organized by Nepal Press Union, Morang on Wednesday, Lawmaker Dr. Koirala said NC has to lead the new government to guarantee the environment for peace and constitution writing though the leadership for the government was not important for NC.
He said NC wants to write the democratic constitution saying it is not possible to lead peace and constitution writing process keeping Congress and Unified CPN-Maoist away from the government that it is necessary to take them together.
In response to a query, he said with media persons, the nation has reached to present impasse when Madhesi parties and CPN-UML remained neutral in the prime ministerial election.
