My life as Class VI student was an adventurous one. Actually, it was like a turning point in my student life. Until Class V, school was all about learning and having fun, but in Class VI, I had to start taking examinations at my school, which required a lot of preparation. The experience was fun at times, but it also required us to be rather serious about our studies.Last year, the big earthquake happened, and many small but scary aftershocks followed. Because of that reason, schools were closed and we had to stay home for a whole month. Since we missed so many classes, we needed to cover up later by going to school even on Sundays. Our first terminal exams were held much later than the schedule. And since this was my very first time sitting for an exam, I was really nervous. I had to focus a lot on studying, and this was not very easy. It was also difficult to keep up with the vast course because there was a lot to read and remember. When we finally sat down for our exams, I saw that a lot of students were cheating, and I wondered if that will help them in the future in any way.
As the days passed, Class VI proved to be more and more difficult. It demanded a lot of our time and hard work. But I also slowly realized that you could understand the course and perform better in exams if you just paid attention to the teachers in class.
I found Class VI an important part of student life because this is the time when you really have to study to learn. This is the time when you need to take your school and classes seriously, complete your home assignments on time, and make sure you don't miss any class. This is also the time when you have to start reading a lot of books, those outside of school curriculum as well, so that you can improve your grammar and know about things that are not mentioned in your course books. But not all of these books have to be serious. You can read story books and comics, too.
However, studying all the time is not a good thing to do. It is important to spend time with your friends, talk about what they are doing, and have fun with them sometimes. Also be active by exercising and participating in different sports. But don't ever stop paying attention in class.
Now that my year in Class VI is over, I think I am going to really miss it. I also believe that it has prepared me for the remaining years of my school life.
