KATHMANDU, May 28: After nearly 17 years, Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) got Bidya Sundar Shakya of CPN-UML as its newly elected mayor.
Following the final result announced on Sunday, supporters and denizens of the KMC gathered at the City Hall to felicitate the newly elected mayor Shakya and deputy-mayor Hari Prabha Khadgi.
