KATHMANDU, August 1: The police today morning arrested a man in illegal possession of drugs from Nagdhunga in Kathmandu. Raju Chaudhary of Kalaiya, Bara was held by a team from the Metropolitan Police Sector, Nagdhunga during a security check on a Kathmandu-bound passenger bus.
The drugs confiscated from Chaudhary include 96 ampoules ibuprofen, 98 ampoules phenergan and 98 ampoules diazepam.
Likewise, the police on Wednesday also arrested a man with 121 grams heroin during a security check on a passenger bus. The arrestee identified as Abdul Salam, 55, of Nepalgunj was sent to the Metropolitan Police Sector, Thankot for investigations, said the police.
