Monica Shrestha, sales officer at President Travels said Eurail pass was useful for business travelers as well as tourists.
The pass has number of categories and one can choose the category on the basis of their need, Monica Shrestha of President Travels said.
“The cost of three adjoining countries for five days with a validity of two months will cost a passenger Euro 340 and if couples are traveling the ticket will cost Euro 290 each.” Choices are also available in wide range of trains including high speed day trains or scenic trains offering incredible view, she said.
Shrestha said the price for Eurail Pass was cheaper compared to the tickets available in Europe as it was being offered as promotional tickets to attract more tourists from non-European countries. “Although people from any country other than European nationals can purchase the ticket our main target are Nepali people,” added she.
“The flexibility and affordable cost are the attractive features of this service,” Pemba Sherpa, Sales Assistant at President Group of Companies said. “The service is beneficial whether for a day trip or week or even a month trip between two cities in one or more countries,” added Sherpa.
