Markets and shops in Dhangadi, Attariya, Tikapur, Lamki have started opening since Wednesday, with people back to their normal lives. Likewise, schools re-opened from today following an agreement reached at the all-side meeting held in Tikapur yesterday.Public transport in the short route has also begun. However, long distance passenger buses have not yet resumed their service.
The agitation calling for a Tharuhat province followed by the undivided far-west campaign had brought life to a standstill in the region as a whole since the past two weeks.
However, supporters of the Tharuhat campaign held a press conference here on Wednesday to announce that their agitation will continue until tomorrow. RSS
