KATHMANDU, Jan 14: Chairman of UCPN (Maoist) Pushpa Kamal Dahal said that his party has been lobbying for the extension of UNMIN´s tenure because the UN body´s role in completing Nepal´s peace process is vital.

He said this during a meeting with UNMIN chief Karin Landgren and UN Secretary General´s representative Samuel Tamrat, who went to Dahal´s residence in Naya Bazaar Friday to pay a farewell call. UNMIN´s tenure is ending tomorrow.
