BIRATNAGAR, Aug 9: The Koshi Province government has announced a public holiday today.
A provincial cabinet meeting held on Thursday decided to grant the holiday across the province in observance of the 30th International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples, according to Government Spokesperson and Minister of Internal Affairs and Law Lila Ballabh Adhikari.
All government offices, local bodies, public institutions, foundations and educational institutions in the province will remain closed for the celebration.
