Govt announces public holiday on Sunday

KATHMANDU, July 9: The government has decided to grant a public holiday on the day of the Muslim festival of Bakra Eid (Eid ul Adha). The Ministry of Home Affairs has announced that a public holiday will be given across the country next Sunday (July 10).

According to the ministry, a public holiday is announced every year on Bakra Eid and this year too, a public holiday has been announced as per the request of the Muslim Commission.
