He admitted to killing them all, informed SP Dilip Chaudhary. “Further investigation into the case is underway,” the police officer said.
During the interrogation, the killer, said to be a mental patient, told police that he went into hiding in the nearby forest after committing the crime, police said.
The bodies of all the slain family members were cremated on Tuesday by the deceased’s relatives after post-mortem.
