KATHMANDU, June 17: As football fans across Nepal follow the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2026, inDrive Nepal and DGO, DishHome's digital streaming platform and the official broadcaster of the tournament in Nepal, have launched a month-long "Ride & Win" campaign offering users discounts and free streaming passes, according to a press release.
The campaign, which runs from June 16 to July 18, aims to enhance the World Cup viewing experience by combining everyday mobility with digital entertainment. Eligible inDrive users can receive discounts on DGO Football Season Passes and enter raffle draws to win complimentary streaming vouchers, allowing them to watch ongoing World Cup matches live on their mobile devices, the press release stated.
Under the campaign, users who complete one inDrive ride within a week will qualify for a 10 percent discount on a DGO Football Season Pass. Those who complete three rides during the same week will be automatically entered into a raffle draw for a chance to win a complimentary season pass.

According to the press release, a total of 2,500 DGO Football Season Pass vouchers will be distributed during the five-week campaign, with around 500 vouchers awarded each week.
The companies said the initiative comes as many Nepali football fans increasingly rely on digital and mobile streaming platforms to follow World Cup matches, many of which are being broadcast during late-night and early-morning hours due to time differences with the host countries.
"Through our partnership with DGO, we wanted to create a campaign that rewards our users while helping them stay connected to the matches and moments that matter most," the press release quoted Rita Pokharel, Country Representative of inDrive Nepal, as saying.
Similarly, DGO Chief Operating Officer Roshan Niraula said the partnership would expand access to World Cup content while rewarding users through their regular commuting activities.
According to the press release, the campaign is intended to create added value for consumers by bringing together ride-hailing and sports streaming services during one of the world's most-watched sporting events.
inDrive operates in more than 1,100 cities across 48 countries and has recorded over 400 million app downloads worldwide. The company provides ride-hailing, intercity transportation, delivery and financial services.
