Talking to reporters at Biratnagar Airport, he accused Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal of spreading baseless rumors about ´foreign master´. “It is irresponsible of a leader to speak in way that could pose threats to national sovereignty and integrity for his partisan interest,” he said.
Criticizing Dahal´s remarks that he would hold talks with New Delhi to resolve the political deadlock in the country, Yadav said political parties in Nepal are themselves capable of solving the country´s problems. “It is not democratic to invite foreigners to resolve our problems. This is irresponsible,” he argued.
Yadav said no one can be nationalist by raising hue and cry against a neighboring country. Stating that it was natural for India to be interested in Nepal´s politics due to geographical proximity, he argued that it was wrong to construe it as interference.
