Indian PM condoles Thapa’s death

KATHMANDU, April 17: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended condolence on the death of former Prime Minister Surya Bahadur Thapa on Thursday.

“PM has expressed grief on the passing away of former Nepal PM Shri Surya Bahadur Thapa & extended condolences to Shri Thapa's family, “reads the tweet from official Twitter account of the Office of the Prime Minister of India.


Former Prime Minister Thapa passed away on Wednesday night at the Medanta Hospital, India. He was 88.
