According to a press statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), Krishna will hold bilateral meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bharat Mohan Adhikari during his three-day stay to Nepal.
He is also scheduled to call on Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal and President Dr Ram Baran Yadav.
The visit comes at a time when PM Khanal is preparing to visit India before he flies to Istanbul to take part in the fourth UN conference on Least Developed Countries from May 9.
Sources said Krishna will also take up the issue of growing Maoist activities directed against India and Indian joint ventures in Nepal.
