According to the plan, existing student wings linked to political parties will be dismantled within two months, while an alternative mechanism—such as student councils or “voice of students” platforms—will be developed within 90 days to ensure representation.

The reform agenda also includes aligning the publication of undergraduate and postgraduate results with a fixed academic calendar provided by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology.

Additionally, universities will be required to make procedural arrangements so that students can enroll in undergraduate programs without needing citizenship documents.

The government has also decided to discontinue internal examinations for students up to Grade 5 starting the next academic session, replacing them with alternative evaluation systems designed to reduce psychological pressure on children.
