Prabhat School clinched two golds in other matches of the girls´ category held at the Triyog School, Dhapasi. Bishnu Khadka of Prabhat School defeated Sanjita Sunam of CWCN in the final of the girls´ U-44 kg category to claim gold. [break]Likewise, Kumari Tamang of Prabhat School ousted Sona Nepali of CWCN in the girls´ U-52 kg.
In the girls´ open category, Samjhana Ghataraj of CWCN claimed gold while Pratibha Khatri of Bhanubhakta School finished second to claim silver.
Meanwhile, Bikash Bhujel of Bal Bikash School defeated Romeo Juna Lama of Bhanubhakta in the final of boys´ U-30 kg category. In the boys´ U-40 kg category, Bhuwan Thapa Magar of Nuwakot won gold defeating Mangal Tamang, also of Nuwakot, in the final.
Umesh Magar of Shree Shanti School claimed gold in the boys´ U-50 kg category. Magar restricted Bikash Pariyar of CWCN to silver in the category. In the boys´ open category, Raj Kumar Bogati of Nepal Police School beat Shishit Singh of Bhanubhakta in the final to claim gold.
Mohit Agarwal of Triyog was adjudged the best player in boys´ category while Debika Maya Shrestha of Bal Bikash bagged the award for best player in the girls´ category. Bal Bikash School was declared the team champion for winning three golds, one silver and four bronzes.
Over 300 students from 16 schools and three judo clubs had participated in the two-day event that concluded on Friday.
