The exhibition has been organized with the support from Galleria CUC and Momo magic. The exhibition was inaugurated on Saturday, February 19, by veteran photographer of Nepal Hari Bangsha Kirant.

“The Taste of Coffee” is an experience of the artistes as they witnessed the farm life and captured the richness of home-grown coffee beans on their canvas, microphone and camera respectively.

The main highlight of the exhibition is the uniqueness with which the rich and aromatic crop has been captured through their paintings, sound designs and photography.

The exhibition also draws the attention to the lives of people involved in coffee farming through the chores of Surya Prasad Adhikari and his wife Saraswoti Adhikari who run a permaculture coffee farm in Lekhnath -10, Bengas of Kaski district, Nepal. The exhibition also highlights the couple’s perception and contribution in conserving and improving local varieties of cultivation, organic farming and sustainable use of local biological resources.

The exhibition will take place till February 27.
