The Morcha, which had formed a new working committee by holding district convention a month ago, has dispatched letters to all 76 Village Development Committee (VDC) of the district demanding Rs. 200,000 from each.
It has also warned to take physical action if the demanded donation is not allocated.
The extortion drive of Morcha increased with the onset of village council in VDCs, said VDC secretaries.
