CIAA arrests sub-engineer red-handed

KATHMANDU, Oct 13: The Commission for the Investigation of the Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Monday arrested red-handed Sharad Kumar Shrestha, a sub-engineer at the District Technical Office, Kathmandu while taking bribe.

He was presented before the media today.

According to CIAA, Shrestha was arrested while taking bribe from construction entrepreneurs after calling them for discussions. The contractors were related to the Kathmandu-Nanglebhare road construction project.

He was arrested from Dhaulagiri Tiffin House Samakhusi, Town Planning. RSS
