Child drowns in Bardiya

BARDIYA, July 19: A one-and-a-half-year-old boy died after drowning in a puddle in front of his house in Mohamadpur-8 Monday morning, the police said.



The puddle had formed after incessant rainfall. The boy died while being rushed to hospital, said Police Inspector Basudev Khatiwada.
