KATHMANDU, March 2: CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has called on the voters for serious consideration when it comes to issues relating to national integrity, sovereignty and nationalism.
In a video message issued on Sunday in the context of the March 5 election to the House of Representatives, Chairperson Oli reminded that he had consistently worked for the greater good of the country. Highlighting the UML's principle of 'Nation First', Oli appealed to the voters to help the UML emerge victorious in the upcoming election.

Oli, also the former Prime Minister, acknowledged that misinformation about him may have led to public grievances and questions. The septuagenarian leader, however, admitted that there may have been shortcomings on his part.
Reaffirming his party's commitment towards nation-building, the UML Chairperson viewed that there should be assurance that public infrastructures would never be set on fire again.
The leader argued that the upcoming election was not merely a contest among the political parties. So, it is time to reflect on the broader national interest before casting votes, he stressed.
