British Army Chief returns home

KATHMANDU, Feb 10: British Army Chief General David Julian Richards, who was on an official visit to Nepal at the invitation of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) of the Nepal Army (NA) Chhatraman Singh Gurung, returned home on Wednesday.



NA Lieutenant General Toran Jung Bahadaur Singh bade farewell to the visiting delegation, including the British Army Chief at the Tribhuvan International Airport.



Also present on the occasion were British Army Attaché and high-ranking NA officials.



Richards had arrived in Kathmandu on a four-day official visit to Nepal on February 6.
