Adhikari bagged a purse of Rs 10,000 and lifted the trophy. He submitted a card of four-over 71 on the first 18 holes and faltered in the final round with eight-over 75 at the par-67 RNGC course.[break]
Kamal Thapa became the runner-up in the tournament played under stroke play format over 36 holes. Thapa carded 15-over 149. Thapa shot 73 and 76 respectively in the two rounds. He received Rs 8,000.
Bishnu KC and Santosh Rokka shared the third position at 16-over 150 and earned Rs 6,500 each. KC carded 75 in both the rounds while Thapa shot 74 and 76.
Kishan Kaliraj finished at the fifth at 153. Om Thakuri (153), Prakash Neupane (155), Sunil Mizar (156), Krishna Nepal (159) and Gyanendra Raut (159) were the top 10 finishers.
Altogether, 37 caddies of the club took part in the event.
During the prize distribution ceremony, RNGC President Prachanda Shrestha felicitated Nepal No 1 Pro Shiva Ram Shrestha for the winning the Player of the Year Award last week during the Pulsar Sports Award.
