KATHMANDU (REPUBLICA): Aberlour single malt whisky has been launched in the Nepali market. "The launch entails introduction of the entire range - Aberlour 12 YO, 16YO and 18 YO in the leading liquor outlets in Nepal," a statement issued on Monday said. "Aberlour Distillery produces spirit of exceptional quality, boasting characteristics that are clean, crisp and fruity with striking depth." Pernod Ricard launched the whisky in Nepal, according to the statement. "In 1990, Aberlour became the first single malt whisky ever to win the Gold Medal at the International Wine and Spirits Competition twice (and has won Gold Medals a further 13 times in that competition in the last 10 years alone)," the statement added.
