Abandoned SAG medalists leave for Kathmandu on own expense

JHAPA, Feb 13: Nine wushu players, abandoned and ignored by their coaches and manager in Jhapa, while returning from Guwahati, India have left for Kathmandu.

Players,who won medals for Nepal in the 12th South Asian Games, have been forced to travel on their own expenses after asking money from relatives.

Team manager and coaches took a flight to Kathmandu from Jhapa, leaving the players behind in Kakkarbhitta on Thursday.

Some of the player had fallen sick and received treatment at Birtamod-based BNC Hospital.
