JHAPA, Feb 12: Nine wushu players, who won medals for Nepal in the ongoing 12th South Asian Games, have been abandoned and ignored by their coaches and manager in Jhapa, while returning from Guwahati, India.

Players said team manager and coaches took a flight to Kathmandu from Jhapa, leaving the players behind in Kakkarbhitta. Some of the player have fallen sick and are receiving treatment at Birtamod-based BNC Hospital.

The players said that the team manager and coaches left them alone in Kakkarbhitta on Thursday and took a flight to Kathmandu on Friday.
