A teacher failing to provide his/her property details to the respective School Teacher Records Office could be fined up to Rs 5000 as per the legal provision. As per the provision, teachers are required to provide details of their property within 60 days of the start of new academic year through respective District Education Office.
District Education Officer Shyam Singh Dhami said that out of the total 1,186 teachers working in the district, only 1015 furnished their property details so far. RSS
