The 3rd Tamang Gyan Mahotsav, organized on the occasion of Tamang Pahichan Diwas, concluded on Thursday at Nepal Tourism Board, Bhrikutimandap. A total of 30 worksheets were presented under four categories -- Language and Linguistics, Society and Culture, Politics and Development, and Exhibition Art and Public Discussion.
Several professionals from various fields, including Prof Dr Dan Raj Regmi, Amrit Yonjan Tamang, Nishnu Theeng, Ramesh Kumar Tamang, Dr Omkareshwor Shrestha, Anju Moktan, and Dr Balkrishna Bal presented the worksheet.
Second edition of Teej Mahotsav begins
As per the press statement, the event was organized in association with 12 Tamang organizations. Portraits of 14 renowned Tamang personalities and 24 books were inaugurated in the event.
Speaking in the event, Ganesh Yonjan, Coordinator of 3rd Tamang Gyan Mahotsav Organizer’s Committee, shared, “The event has provided a platform for three different generations of Tamang society to discuss, interact and exchange experience. It has further provided a progressive environment to validate and uplift knowledge and information for Tamang community.”
