LAHAN, Jan 4: The District Court, Siraha has remanded Chandra Kanta Raut better known as CK Raut to custody for ten days.
He was arrested on Thursday on the charge of running a secession campaign. DSP Raj Kumar KC of Area Police Office, Lahan, said they will collect evidences against him in the ten days.
Meanwhile, police have arrested 21 protestors who had staged demonstration in Lahan on Friday demanding his release. They have been detained at Area Police Office, Lahan,” informed DSP KC.
