Youth Force, YCL clash in Darchula

MAHENDRANAGAR, March 10: The youth wings of the ruling Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) and the Communist Party of Nepal (UML) clashed at Khalanga, district headquarter of Darchula on Tuesday, seriously injuring Maoist cadre Dharmananda Joshi.



Joshi´s right hand was broken and also suffered head injuries during the clash that erupted after the Youth Force handed Maoist activists Mahendra Bista and Khadka Singh to police following vandalization of the UML office.



The Youth Force maintains that the two were nabbed while they were pelting stones at the UML office.
