The stark beauty of snowcapped mountains has always allured me. I’ve wanted to go out on a trek or hike for a long time but something always comes in the way. Sometimes I wonder if it’s due to my unwillingness, or my busy schedules. [break]If you ask me, my dream trek is to definitely ascend Mt Everest. Even the thought gives me goose-bumps. But unfortunately, something comes up at the last minute, and I end up canceling my plans. Hopefully, next time luck is on my side.

I’ve always wanted to be a fashion designer. I wanted to be a designer since I was a kid. Such was the urge that I remember chopping one of my mother’s expensive saris and cutting it to pieces for a design that was in my head (Laughs). I rattled along with the sewing machine in my home for a long time but was unsuccessful at it. Then I hid the sari pieces and lied to my mother that it had been lost.Another thing, I always aspired to be a pianist. At school, we had a very stern piano teacher and the fear of reprimands sort of hindered my learning. However, I still seriously want to be a proficient pianist.

To strum a guitar and play my own music would be one big deal for me. Learning guitar is something I always wanted to do. I even started taking guitar lessons at Do Re Mi Music School, Jamal, but had to cancel it in the middle due to my busy schedules. One thing led to another and it’s still on my to-do list (Grins). But I plan to resume my guitar lessons as soon as possible. I really appreciate an artiste who can play his own music and sing. I guess, it just makes it so self-sufficient.As told to Dikshya Karki
