Workshop on ‘Banking, Insurance and Financial Markets’ held

KATHMANDU (REPUBLICA): Students of Central Department of Management (CDM) organized a six-day workshop on 'Banking, Insurance and Financial Markets.'



The workshop was organized starting from January 21 at CDM, TU. According to organizers, the event was facilitated by nine renowned personalities of their respective field as resource persons that included former acting governor Krishna Bahadur Manandhar, Financial consultant Parshuram Kunwar Chettri.

Participants of the training were basically students of Master of Business Studies (MBS) in final semester at CDM, TU.


"The training program mainly focused on providing practical knowledge to the students regarding banking insurance and financial institutions so that it becomes easier for them to work in the related field when they graduates from college," said Anit Kunwar, a member of the organizing committee said.


Speaking at the closing ceremony of the event, Dean of the faculty of management, Dev Raj Adhikari appreciated the effort of students in organizing such a great event and also encouraged them to continue such kind of program in days to come.
