A team of EC comprising Chief Election Commissioners on Wednesday briefed the plan of action to Chairperson of Interim Council of Ministers Khil Raj Regmi at the latter´s office as part of the Commission´s preparation for elections.
Chairperson Regmi and EC team dwelt on the election laws. On the occasion, it was shared that the government is preparing to present CA Election Act to the President for amendment.
Chairman Regmi urged to speed up all election-related activities, while expressing the readiness to provide every possible support on behalf of the government, said his Press advisor Bimal Gautam.
The Chairman also urged the Commission to work in close coordination with the Government.
