KATHMANDU, March 20: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the exchange rates, the value of major currencies such as the US dollar, euro, UK pound sterling, and Swiss franc has decreased.
As per the bank, the buying rate of the US dollar is Rs 138.02, and the selling rate is Rs 138.82. For the Euro, the buying rate is Rs 150.44, and the selling rate is Rs 151.10, while on Wednesday, the buying rate was Rs 151.12 and the selling rate was Rs 151.78. The UK pound sterling is set at a buying rate of Rs 178.99 and a selling rate of Rs 179.77. The Swiss Franc has a buying rate of Rs 156.92 and a selling rate of Rs 157.60.
For the Australian dollar, the buying rate is Rs 87.39, and the selling rate is Rs 87.77. The Canadian dollar has a buying rate of Rs 96.34 and a selling rate of Rs 96.76, while the Singapore dollar is set at a buying rate of Rs 103.51 and a selling rate of Rs 103.96.
The Japanese yen is set at a buying rate of Rs 9.21 for 10 yen and a selling rate of Rs 9.25. The Chinese Yuan has a buying rate of Rs 19.09 and a selling rate of Rs 19.19. The Saudi Arabian Riyal is set at a buying rate of Rs 36.80 and a selling rate of Rs 36.96, while the Qatari Riyal has a buying rate of Rs 37.86 and a selling rate of Rs 38.03.
According to the central bank, the Thai Baht has a buying rate of Rs 4.10 and a selling rate of Rs 4.12. The UAE dirham is set at a buying rate of Rs 37.58 and a selling rate of Rs 37.74, while the Malaysian ringgit has a buying rate of Rs 31.11 and a selling rate of Rs 31.25.
The South Korean won has a buying rate of Rs 9.46 for 100 won and a selling rate of Rs 9.50. The Swedish krone is set at a buying rate of Rs 13.67 and a selling rate of Rs 13.73, while the Danish krona has a buying rate of Rs 20.17 and a selling rate of Rs 20.26.
The Hong Kong dollar has a buying rate of Rs 17.76 and a selling rate of Rs 17.84. The Kuwaiti dinar has a buying rate of Rs 448.04 and a selling rate of Rs 449.99. The Bahraini dinar is set at a buying rate of Rs 366.11 and a selling rate of Rs 367.70, while the Omani Rial has a buying rate of Rs 358.53 and a selling rate of Rs 360.08. The Indian rupee is set at a buying rate of Rs 160 for 100 rupees and a selling rate of Rs 160.15.
