KATHMANDU, Jan 25: The Consular Section of the US Embassy has asked Nepali citizens to forward to the embassy those emails that claim to have been sent by the US Department of State or Bureau of Consular Affairs promising DV or Green Cards.

“Any person who receives an e-mail that mentions Diversity Visa or promises you a Green Card should consider the contents illegitimate and fraudulent. Nepali citizens who receive such emails are encouraged to send them to the Consular Section’s Fraud Prevention Unit at FraudKTM@state.gov," said a statement from the US embassy.
