LAHAN, May 23: Siraha District Administration Office is keeping a close eye on local officials of the infamous Unity Life International to prevent them from further expanding their illegal network in the district.
Siraha CDO Birendra Kumar Yadav said local officials have taken Unity´s properties in the district under their control as per the decision taken at the central level. [break]
Yadav also said they had begun making database of Unity officials in the district as well as their bank accounts. However, he refused to disclose the names of those officials who have been kept under surveillance.
Deputy Superintendent of Police at Siraha District Police Office Sanu Thapaliya said they have yet to received formal complains from Unity victims.
Unity reportedly has around 10,000 persons in the district alone.
