POKHARA, May 13: A bomb went off last night at the premises of the Barahi Higher Secondary School at the Lakeside in Pokhara – Lekhnath Metropolitan City.
Unidentified group threw the bomb inside the school from outside the wall at midnight, Ward Police Office, Baidam said. No human casualties have been reported, but the explosion has managed to instill fear among the locals.
Police believe that the CPN Maoist led by Biplov Group could be involved in the incident. The polling centre for ward no 6 has been setup at the school where the explosion took place. Police are searching for those involved in such anti-election activities. RSS
