But most youth leaders, including Ghanshyam Bhusal, Yogesh Bhattarai, Jagannath Khatiwada and Bhanubhakta Dhakal, among others, fiercely criticized the party´s top leaders for not abiding by the party statute while preparing the list of nominees.

"Most of the youth members, irrespective of their factional affiliations within the party, criticized the leaders for breaching the party statute," Khatiwada told Republica.

Bhattarai said the CC mandated the party´s top leaders to nominate representatives "as a special political decision based on the doctrine of necessity."
