Pokharel has proposed party Chairman Jhala Nath Khanal as chief of the party school department. He will also head the parliamentary board.
Vice-Chairman Ashok Rai has been proposed for organization department, General Secretary Pokharel for publicity department and senior leader KP Oli for foreign affairs department.
Likewise, Rajendra Pandey has been proposed for state affairs department, Bharat Mohan Adhikari for finance planning and research, Pradip Nepal for natural resource management, Bamdev Gautam for agriculture and land reform, and Mukunda Neupane for industry-business and labor relation department, according to CC member Ghanashyam Bhusal.
Similarly, Gokarna Bista has been proposed for local development and physical infrastructure department, Rakam Chemjong for federal affairs, Pradip Gyawali for inclusive and social security department, Keshav Badal for cooperative, Mahendra Pandey for education and human resource development, Krishna Gopal Shrestha for health population and environment and Agni Kharel for law and election.
General Secretary Pokharel also proposed names for chiefs of zonal committees. The proposed names are Naresh Kharel (Mechi), Rajendra Gautam (Koshi), Dharmanath Prasad Sah (Sagarmatha), Ram Chandra Jha (Janakpur), Kashi Nath Adhikari (Narayani), Khagaraj Adhikari (Gandaki), Thammaya Thapamagar (Dhaulagiri), Chhavilal Bishwakarma (Lumbini), Prakash Jwala (Rapti), Devraj Bhat (Bheri), Bhanubhakta Joshi (Seti), Urbadutta Panta (Mahakali) and Dilli Bahadur Malla (Karnali). Rabindra Shrestha and Jhillu Prasad Tiwari have been proposed chiefs of Kathmandu Valley and India bureau, respectively.
No departmental responsibility has been proposed for some noted leaders including Shankar Pokharel, Bhim Rawal and Raghubir Mahaseth, indicating that they might be inducted into the cabinet.
