An organization – Racing the Planet – organized the event beginning Sunday. [break]
The participants of the marathon that began from Sadikhola of Kaski are set to reach Ghara today via the routes of Khaniyaghat of Parbat, Beni, Galeswor and Tatopani of Myagdi.
Altogether 223 marathon athletes representing 38 countries took part in the event. 23 of them have left the race, informed the organizer.
Race the Planet has already organized such marathon event in 29 countries. The event has been organized with a view to promoting tourism through sports, the organizer said.
