According to vice-chairman of TMDP Hridayesh Tripathi, the UDMF decided to remain neutral in the fifth round of PM voting as the parties failed to strike any deals after the fourth round of voting.
The political scenario remains unchanged which compelled UDMF to remain neutral even in the fifth round, Tripathi clarified. There have not been any bilateral and all-party meetings among the parties after the fourth round of voting to clear the political deadlock, Tripathi added.
