UDMF tightens shutdown in Lahan

LAHAN, Oct 23: The United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) has once again tightened the general strike it has called at Lahan bazaar from today. The general strike was slightly relaxed in view of Dashain festival.

Lahan is the main trade hub of Sagarmath zone.The cadres, who had allowed shops to open during Dashain, asked the traders to shutter the shops this morning citing the conclusion of the Dashain festival, said locals. RSS
