Police also recovered an SLR gun, its 11 rounds of bullet, fuse wire and batteries from the area.
A police team deputed from Area Police Office, Chainapur and District Police Office Khandabari, recovered the weapon.
On Saturday, the unidentified group pelted stones at the vehicles of candidate Kiranti and his electioneering team at the village. They had also obstructed the way felling the trees and placing stones on the road.
According to DSP Pawan Kumar Giri at District Police Office, they recovered the weapon from the area where the unidentified group had placed the hurdles.
According to Kiranti, they had also heard the sounds of shoots fired in the air near by the incident site.
However, no casualty was reported.Police said that investigation is underway to nab the culprits.
