Two-thirds of six-lane road project completed

BHAKTAPUR, Aug 28: Nearly 65 per cent of the construction of six-lane road from Suryabinayak to Koteshwar has been completed. The Japanese government has provided assistance for the road construction.



Chief of Road Construction Project Saroj Pradhan informed the road construction started at the estimated investment of Rs. 1.75 billion witnessed 65 per cent of the work.



The entire construction of the road with the length of 9.1 kilometre will be accomplished by mid April, 2011, he said.



In the six-lane road, four lanes will be used for vehicles to ply while two-lane will be for service track.
