The motorcyclist has been identified as 18-year-old Sital Bote of Galbubeshi, Vyas-1.
The bus, heading to Kathmandu from Pokhara, had knocked him down near his home.
Bote, an fresh SLC graduate from Jaldevi Higher Secondary School, died while being taken to Damauli for treatment. His body has been kept at the hospital for postmortem.
Police have taken the bus and its driver in control.
Meanwhile, a girl was killed after being hit by a truck in Deukhuri of Dang on Thursday afternoon.
According to police, 21-year-old Ritu Bhandari of Chailahi VDC-2, died during treatment after a truck (Na 3 Kha 6008) knocked her down on the highway at Lamahi bazaar.
