HETAUDA, Oct 3: Police apprehended two people with narcotics while conducting a check on two buses going towards Kathmandu from Birgunj at Ratmate on Wednesday morning.
Those arrested in this connection are 33-year-old Nawaraj Shrestha, a resident of Katunje VDC-6, Bhaktapur district and 27-year-old Birendra Prasad Sonar, a resident of Bhawanipur VDC-3, Bara district. [break]
Police confiscated 300 grams of brown sugar from Shrestha and 3,000 milligrams of Phensydel from Sonar, the District Police Office, Makwanpur stated.
