Metropolitan Police Range Kathmandu (MPRK) claimed that Thing was released after a few hours´ captivity when police raided a YCL shelter at Swayambhu. [break]However, police have not arrested the YCL cadres who colluded with Din and Maharjan in the kidnap.
Thing was picked up from Sanobharyang and initially taken to the nearby YCL shelter on Tuesday morning. A few hours later, he was shifted to an unidentified house at Samakhushi.
MPRK said Thing was released by kidnappers following pressure on the YCL cadres.
