BARDIYA, March 18: Two girls who had gone to the Geruwa tributary of Karnali River were drowned while fishing.
The bodies of the two girls, who had gone missing in the river since Wednesday, were recovered by police on Thursday.
The girls have been identified as 11-year-old Hema Pun and 14-year-old Pushpa, both resident of Beluwa-2.
